Hi all,
You may or may not know that I own a company called Voodooworx that makes resin gaming bases, plinths and gaming accessories. I’ve been running it since April 2009 but after some careful thought I have decided to take Voodooworx in a slightly different direction. I am happy to announce that Secret Weapon Miniatures will be adding the complete Voodooworx product catalogue to its already extensive selection of resin bases and accessories. There will be a short transition period as I pack everything up and send it to Secret Weapon, but they expect to re-launch the line in November.
I’m not going anywhere though, Voodooworx is not closing down and I plan to carry on designing and creating gaming base themes as before. The only difference will be that instead of me casting and selling them myself I will be working on a commission basis for other companies and I am already working on additional products for Secret Weapon Miniatures. This new way of running things will also allow me time to concentrate on designing and creating all things that I’ve had ideas for, for ages, but just haven’t had time to do – scenery and sculpted bits etc. and more importantly I should have a lot more time to paint miniatures for my blog and get a serious amount of sculpting practice in too.

If you are or know a company that might be interested in me working with them on a project then feel free to contact me on here or by email through my
Voodooworx site.

Just wanted to show you guys what I’ve been busy working on recently. It’s the next set of gaming bases for my company Voodooworx and is called ‘Ancient Sands’.
I’m really happy with how they turned out, it’s taken 3 weeks to complete the project from initial sketches to finish resin bases, which isn’t too bad. That was with a mutilated finger too, after I slipped and put a brand new scalpel blade through the top of my index finger. I have no idea how to write down the noise I made when I did it lol…. but it hurt like a #$%!@

Hoping to have some painting updates for you in my next post.
